30th Reunion Recap
Munford High School Class of 1973
October 11, 2003
The Munford High School Class of 1973 held their 30th High School Reunion on Saturday night, October 11, 2003 from 7 pm until midnight at the Anniston Army Depot. The reunion began with classmates and friends gathering outside of the depot to receive last minute instructions from Chris. She made sure that everyone got through security without any glitches and Doug led our MHS caravan onto the depot and to the Community Activity Center where the party started! The evening consisted of good food, good music and lots of goofy karaoke singing. There was some dancing but mostly reminiscing about the good old days and the renewing of old friendships. It was like time had stood still; yes, we are all a little older, some of us a little heavier, some of us a little thinner, some of us a little grayer and some of us covering up the gray… but in our hearts (where it counts the most) we were all 18 again. Artie, Chris, and committee did a great job planning and executing this event and for this we thank you very much! Understand that friends come and go, but with a precious few you should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and lifestyle, because the older you get, the more you need the people who knew you when you were young.[1]
